The Amazing Story Behind the Sedona Method
|
In 1952, at the age of 42, Lester Levenson, a physicist and successful entrepreneur, was at the
pinnacle of his life and career. Yet, despite impressive worldly success, Lester found himself
a very unhappy and unhealthy man. So unhealthy, in fact, that after experiencing a second heart
attack, his doctors sent him home to his Central Park penthouse apartment in New York City to die.
It was then that Lester found himself faced with his greatest challenge yet~the challenge to stay
alive!
Not long after the grim diagnosis, Lester came to the realization that there was only one physics
lab left in the entire world where he might find a solution~the lab within his own heart and mind.
With the same determination and concentration that had made him such a worldly success, Lester
entered his "inner lab," cutting through his conscious mind to find a way of deciphering and
then letting go of all inner limitation
Lester was so excited by the discovery of this process that he used it intensively on himself for
the next three months. At the end of this three-month period, Lester's physical body had
miraculously healed itself, and he found that he had naturally entered a state of profound inner
peace that stayed with him as he lived 42 years longer than his doctors expected.
Lester realized the importance of sharing this gift with others. He began working with people,
individually and in small groups, to help them find their own answers. In 1974, during a moment
of inspiration, Lester clearly saw the way to transform this powerful tool into a simple-to-learn,
do-it-yourself system known today as the Sedona Method.
